Antenarria howellii
is found in similar habitats asAntenarria
parvifolia. A. howellii has green upper surfaces on its
leaves, lacking the gray-green pubescence found on most other Antennaria spp.
It does, however, have gray-green pubescence on the underside of the leaves. Phyllaries
are white or cream colored. All plants of Antennaria howellii are female
and reproduce via seeds produced from unfertilized ovules.
