Flowers heads of Brickellia grandiflora appear in groups and hang down. The involucre bracts, which look like sepals, are hairy. Leaves are triangular with coarse teeth.
Compare to Brickellia californica, which has smaller flower heads and a shrubby growth habit.
Compare to Brickellia eupatorioides, which has narrower leaves and more upright flower heads.
