Tall Cinquefoil grows in mountain
meadows and forest openings. Flowers are white. Petals and sepals are close to
the same length. Leaves are pinnately compound with toothed leaflets. Leaflets
tend to get smaller toward the petiole.
Compare to Drymocallis fissa, which
has yellow flowers and usually grows at lower elevations.
